Abstract:
Provided is a pneumatic tire capable of improving off-road durability performance, wet performance, and snow performance while reducing rolling resistance and making it possible to achieve these performances at a high level. A cap tread layer 11 is composed of a rubber composition in which 50-100 parts by mass of silica and 5-25 parts by mass of carbon black are compounded with 100 parts by mass of diene rubber including 50% by mass or more of natural rubber and 20-40% by mass of styrene-butadiene rubber, a terminal-modified styrene-butadiene rubber having a vinyl content of 35-70% by mass is used as the styrene-butadiene rubber, the carbon black has a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area N2SA of less than 130 m2/g, and a tensile product TB×EB and a hardness of the rubber composition constituting the cap tread layer 11 are set to 12,000 or more and 60-70, respectively.
