Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a pneumatic tyre (1) which comprises: a pair of bead portions (2); sidewall portions (3) which are continuous with the bead portions; and a tread portion (10) which connects to the sidewall portions. The ratio of the section width (SW) and the outer diameter (OD) of this pneumatic tyre satisfies the relationship SW/OD ≤ 0.3. Moreover, if the length along a tread profile (12) from one second reference point (Q1) to another second reference point (Q2) is the tread development width (TDW), and angles formed by straight lines linking the second reference points and the profile centre (cc), and a straight line that is parallel to the tyre width direction are the drop amounts (θ), the following relationships are satisfied: 0.8 ≤ TDW/SW < 1, and 1.5° ≤ θ ≤ 4.5°.
