Abstract:
In order to improve the on-snow steering stability performance in a high speed region, the surface of a tread (11) is provided with: an inner side land section (13b), which is partitioned by two circumferential direction grooves (12c, 12a) formed so as to extend along the tyre circumferential direction; and inclined lug grooves (14b) which partition the inner side land section (13b) into a plurality of blocks (15b), have a shallower groove depth than the circumferential direction grooves (12c, 12a), and extend in an inclined direction in relation to the tyre circumferential direction and the tyre width direction. Formed in the surface of each block (15a) are: one inclined sipe (16p), which inclines in the same direction as the inclined lug grooves (14b) and opens at both ends into the circumferential direction grooves (12c, 12a); and a plurality of sub-sipes (16q, 16r), which open at one end into a circumferential direction groove (12c, 12a), an inclined lug groove (14b) or the inclined sipe (16p), terminate at the other end within the block (15a), and incline in the opposite direction to the inclined sipe (16p).
