Abstract:
This pneumoperitoneum apparatus comprises: a gas supply tube 15 which communicates with a gas supply source 11 for supplying a predetermined gas, and supplies the gas to a body cavity of a patient 12; a proportional control valve 4 which is provided on the gas supply tube 15 and controls the opening and closing of the gas supply tube 15; a current detection unit 62 for detecting the current value of current flowing through the proportional control valve 4; a resistance computation unit 63 for calculating the resistance value of the proportional control valve 4 on the basis of the current value; a PWM drive unit 65 for adjusting the drive voltage supplied to the proportional control valve 4 by PWM control to adjust the opening degree of the proportional control valve 4 in a stepwise manner; and a PWM control unit 64 for determining a duty ratio which the PWM drive unit 65 uses on the basis of the resistance value and a target gas supply rate of the gas supplied to the body cavity.
