Abstract:
Provided are a pocket forming device and a blister packaging machine that are capable of inhibiting the intrusion of foreign matter into a pocket section when forming pocket sections in a packaging film by using plugs. A pocket forming device 6 is provided with: a chamber 50 having an internal space into which high-pressure air is introduced; a cylindrical fixed shaft section 53a fixed to the chamber 50; a movable shaft section 60 that is inserted in the inner peripheral side of the fixed shaft section 53a for displacing plugs 63 inside the chamber 50; a cylindrical outer tube 55 provided so as to be displaceable relative to the outer peripheral side of the fixed shaft section 53a and fixed to the movable shaft section 60; and an air cylinder 72 for displacing the outer tube 55 and the movable shaft section 60 relative to the fixed shaft section 53a. Furthermore, a slide bearing 56 is provided between the outer peripheral section of the fixed shaft section 53a and the inner peripheral section of the outer tube 55.
