Abstract:
A point cloud processing method and device. The method comprises: determining a first block in a point cloud, the first block comprising at least some point cloud points of the point cloud, and the first block comprising a plurality of sub-blocks; and determining, according to position information of a first point cloud point in the point cloud and position information of at least one of the sub-blocks, the relative position relation between the at least one of the sub-blocks and the point cloud, wherein the relative position relation is used for determining whether to encode or decode the sub-block.
