Abstract:
The present invention relates to a polar vessel having a derrick, and particularly, to a polar vessel having a derrick which can maintain a safe inner environment within the enclosed derrick. The polar vessel having a derrick according to the present invention comprises: the derrick forming a space which is sealed from outdoor air (because the ship having the derrick is a polar vessel); a moonpool connected so as to communicate with the derrick at the bottom lower portion of the derrick and block outdoor air; and air inlet means installed to allow the inner space of the derrick or the moonpool to communicate with the outside, wherein the air intake and discharge means can control and maintain the air conditions in the inner space within a certain range.
