Abstract:
This polarity determination device is provided with: an acquisition unit which acquires the magnitude of a current flowing through a first connection portion which is connected to, among differential lines for flowing a digital differential signal by means of a first wire and a second wire, a first differential line and a second differential line, and which interconnects the first wire of the first differential line and the first wire of the second differential line, and/or the magnitude of a current flowing through a second connection portion interconnecting the second wire of the first differential line and the second wire of the second differential line; and a polarity determination unit which determines the polarity of the digital differential signal on the basis of the magnitude of the current flowing through the first connection portion that has been acquired by the acquisition unit, and/or the magnitude of the current flowing through the second connection portion.
