Abstract:
A polarization plate manufacturing method is provided which involves: a step in which a latex layer is formed on a substrate and dried, producing on the substrate a transfer film on which an optical film is formed; a step in which a polarizer is bonded onto the optical film-side surface of the transfer film; and a step in which the substrate is separated from the transfer film. When the latex forming the latex layer is mixed at 10 wt% with cyclohexanone, then the surface energy is 41.0-48.0 mN/m on the side of the substrate where the latex forms the latex layer substantially without dissolving, and the thickness of the optical film is 1-10μm.
