Abstract:
Provided is a polarized light imaging device (100) which can be miniaturized while reducing a deterioration in image quality. The polarized light imaging device (100) comprises: an image sensor (50) having a first subsensor region, a second subsensor region, a third subsensor region, and a fourth subsensor region which are evenly divided and adjacent to each other; and a binary mask (10) including a first submask region having a first polarization direction, a second submask region having a second polarization direction, a third submask region having a third polarization direction, and a fourth submask region having a fourth polarization direction which are evenly superimposed on the first subsensor region, the second subsensor region, the third subsensor region, and the fourth subsensor region, wherein the first submask region, the second submask region, the third submask region, and the fourth submask region are arranged to be evenly superimposed on the first subsensor region, the second subsensor region, and the third subsensor region and the fourth subsensor region, respectively.
