The polarizer comprises: a first phase compensation film (20) having a small refractive index, a plurality of recesses (220) being provided on the first phase compensation film (20); and a second phase compensation film (30) having a large refractive index, a plurality of protrusion structures (310) matching the recesses (220) being provided on the second phase compensation film (30).
