Abstract:
The present invention provides: a polarizing film laminate which is capable of comprehensively solving the problems of polyene formation, decoloration and red discoloration by heating; and the like. A polarizing film laminate with an adhesive layer comprising a polarizing film that contains a polyvinyl alcohol resin and an adhesive layer that is provided on at least one surface of the polarizing film directly or with an optically transparent polarizing film protection film being interposed therebetween, wherein: the adhesive layer contains an adhesive polymer; the adhesive polymer has a copolymerized acid component; and the amount of the acid component in all monomer components in the adhesive polymer is 5% by weight or less. In an x-y rectangular coordinate system in which the iodine concentration in the polarizing film is taken on the x-axis and the moisture content in the polarizing film laminate is taken on the y-axis, this polarizing film laminate with an adhesive layer has an iodine concentration and a moisture content within the region bounded by: a first line segment that connects a first coordinate point where the iodine concentration is 7.0 wt% and the moisture content is 0.7 g/m2 and a second coordinate point where the iodine concentration is 2.2 wt% and the moisture content is 3.2 g/m2; a second line segment that connects the second coordinate point and a third coordinate point where the iodine concentration is 2.2 wt% and the moisture content is 4.0 g/m2; a third line segment that connects the third coordinate point and a fourth coordinate point where the iodine concentration is 3.0 wt% and the moisture content is 4.0 g/m2; a fourth line segment that connects the fourth coordinate point and a fifth coordinate point where the iodine concentration is 10.0 wt% and the moisture content is 0.7 g/m2; and a fifth line segment that connects the first coordinate point and the fifth coordinate point.
