Abstract:
Provided is a polarizing plate in which displacement in a through-hole portion is small even in a high-temperature environment, and air bubbles in the through-hole portion can be notably suppressed when a through-hole is filled with an adhesive for laminating a cover glass in an image display device. This polarizing plate comprises a polarizer, a protective layer disposed on at least one side of the polarizer, and an adhesive layer, and a through-hole is formed therein. The thickness of the polarizer is 15 μm or less, and |b1-b2| is 45 mm or less. Here b1 is the distance from the center of the through-hole to one end of the polarizing plate in the absorption axis direction of the polarizer, and b2 is the distance from the center of the through-hole to the other end of the polarizing plate in the absorption axis of the polarizer.
