Abstract:
The present invention provides a polarizing plate and a liquid crystal display device comprising the polarizing plate, the polarizing plate comprising a polarizer and a protective coating layer formed on at least one surface of the polarizer, the protective coating layer being formed of a composition for forming a protective coating layer, the composition containing a cellulose-based resin having an acid functional group and an aziridine-based cross-linking agent. The polarizing plate according to the present invention can provide a polarizer protective effect with excellent durability and adhesive strength, and can have a reduced thickness and weight without using an adhesive layer.
