Abstract:
The present invention provides a polarizing plate which has excellent quality even in cases where the polarizing plate is cut. A polarizing plate according to the present invention comprises a polarizer which is configured from a polyvinyl alcohol resin film that contains a dichroic substance, and which has a shrinkage of 5% or less in the absorption axis direction if heated at 85°C for 120 minutes; and this polarizing plate has a fusion cut part.
