Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a highly reliable polarizing plate provided with a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, whereby deformation of an acrylic protective layer itself is suppressed and lifting and peeling at an adhesive interface between the acrylic protective layer and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer do not occur even in a high-temperature, high-humidity environment. [Solution] A polarizing plate provided with a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, having a layered polarizer including a polyvinyl alcohol resin, an adhesive layer, a protective layer comprising a (meth)acrylic resin composition, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, the polarizing plate provided with a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer being characterized in that at least one side of the layered polarizer abuts one side of the adhesive layer, the other side of the adhesive layer abuts one side of the protective layer, one side of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer abuts the other side of the protective layer, the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer includes an acrylic polymer (A) having a weight-average molecular weight of 600,000 to 3,000,000 obtained by copolymerizing a monomer mixture including more than 0 parts by mass to 6 parts by mass of a monomer (a) having a crosslinkable functional group and 0 to 99.5 parts by mass of an alkyl (meth)acrylate monomer (b) having 8 or more carbon atoms in the alkyl chain thereof, the acid value of the acrylic monomer (A) is 1-50 mg KOH/g, and the storage modulus (G') of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer at 23°C and a measurement frequency of 1 Hz is 1.0×104 to 3.0×105 Pa.
