Abstract:
It is intended to provide with high productivity a polarizing plate of high quality and high added value that is high in the strength of adhesion between polarizing film and transparent protective film, in particular, being resistant to peeling even in high temperature high humidity atmosphere and to provide usages of such a polarizing plate. There is provided a polarizing plate comprising a polarizing film and, superimposed on at least one surface thereof, a transparent protective film, wherein the at least one surface of polarizing film and the transparent protective film are bonded to each other by means of an adhesive containing a polyvinyl alcohol resin and a silane coupling agent.
