Abstract:
The present application provides a policy-related communication method, comprising: a policy control function network element determines instruction information according to identification information of a first event; send the instruction information to a control plane network element. The instruction information is used for instructing the control plane network element not to perform subsequent operations associated with a first terminal until the control plane network element receives the policy information of the first terminal from the policy control function network element. The control plane network element is a session management function network element or a mobility management function network element. By means of the solution, the signaling processing efficiency of the control plane network element is improved, so that user experience is improved.
