Title:
POLISHING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2002/090046
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A polishing device which is based on a grindstone−reciprocating, dry and lightweight design to thereby correct any defects caused by a grindstone−rotating, wet and heavyweight design, and which uses a pendulum−type tool holder for precision, safe polishing, wherein the grindstone includes a rough grindstone and a finishing grindstone detachably pasted on the same surface of the grindstone base for improved work efficiency. The polishing device is designed in the following contexts: A quite large number (at least 6 million) of scissors are used in the hair−cutting&sol dressing business circle. Although higher−performance, higher−function scissors are required to accommodate recent developments in cutting techniques and scissors need be re−polished, many models of conventional polishing devices do not satisfy the performances and functions required by barbers&sol beauticians and their performances fail to catch up with those of high−performance scissors. Business circles, where kitchen knives or the like are very frequently used, are increasingly faced with aging workers and the lack of technicians, and require lighter, safer, higher−performance polishing devices.
