Abstract:
A polishing jig which holds a ferrule can be easily cleaned after the polishing operation is performed.
The polishing jig (10) is provided with a holding member (11) which holds the ferrule (31) at the time of polishing the leading end surface of the ferrule (31). The holding member (11) is composed of a holding member main body (12), which has a through hole (121) into which the ferrule (31) is inserted, and protruding sections (16, 17), which are provided on the upper surface of the holding member main body (12) and support the flange portion (33) of the ferrule (31) when the ferrule (31) is inserted into the through hole (121).
