Abstract:
Provided is a polishing tool (10) which is used together with a belt-shaped polishing sheet (60) to polish the outer circumferential surface of a pipe (50) around which the polishing sheet is wound. The polishing tool is constituted by: a roller chain (12) that is detachably wound around the pipe (50); and a pair of guide devices (14) that are detachably attached to the roller chain (12) and that guide the travel of the polishing sheet (60). Each guide device (14) is constituted by: a base member (16) that sandwiches the roller chain (12) from the width direction thereof; and a roller member (18) which includes a shaft (18a) that is cantilever supported by the base member (16) so that the axis of the shaft is substantially orthogonal to the lengthwise direction of the roller chain (12), and which includes a guide roller (18b) that is rotatably attached to the shaft (18a).
