Abstract:
A poly(1-butene) resin composition and a molded object are provided, the resin composition having a long half-crystallization time and being suitable for obtaining molded objects with an excellent balance between strength and moldability. This poly(1-butene) resin composition comprises a poly(1-butene) resin (A) having an MFR (JIS K 6721, 190ºC, 2.16 Kg) of 0.01-50 g/10 min and an ethylene-based polymer (B) satisfying requirements (i) to (iii), and satisfies requirements (I) and (II): (i) to have a mass-average molecular weight determined by GPC of 3,000-9,000 in terms of polyethylene; (ii) to have a ratio of mass-average molecular weight to number-average molecular weight as determined by GPC, Mw/Mn, of 1.0-3.5; (iii) to have a density d (JIS K 7112, density gradient tube method) of 890-980 kg/m3; (I) to have a content [WA] of the poly(1-butene) resin (A) of 95.000-99.999 mass% and a content [WB] of the ethylene-based polymer (B) of 0.001-5.000 mass% (the sum of WA and WB being taken as 100 mass%); and (II) to satisfy the relationship T1/2>(0.27×WB-1.34)×d-274×WB+1389 where T1/2 (sec) is the half-crystallization time determined at isothermal crystallization temperature 90ºC by a DSC measurement of the resin composition, d (kg/m3) is the density of the polymer (B), and WB is the content in mass% of the polymer (B).
