Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a method for preparing a poly(4-methyl-1-pentene) hollow fiber membrane having a graded pore structure by combining thermally-induced phase separation and nonsolvent induced phase separation, comprising: poly(4-methyl-1-pentene) is first homogenized with a diluent under high temperature; the mixture is molded in one step by means of extrusion, passes through an air section, is cooled in a cooling bath, and undergoes thermally-induced phase separation and nonsolvent induced phase separation; and finally, the diluent is extracted, and the hollow fiber membrane is obtained. The hollow fiber membrane prepared using the method provided in the present disclosure has enhanced safety. The thermally-induced phase separation and the nonsolvent induced phase separation processes in the poly(4-methyl-1-pentene)-diluent system are easy to adjust, thereby obtaining a poly(4-methyl-1-pentene) membrane having better mechanical strength, gas permeability and plasma immersion resistance. The present disclosure also provides a poly(4-methyl-1-pentene) hollow fiber membrane and a use thereof in the field of artificial membrane lungs.
