Abstract:

A polyacetal resin composition having high rigidity and excellent dimensional stability and creep property, namely, a polyacetal resin composition comprising 99.9 to 90 parts by weight of a linear polyacetal resin (A) which is produced by copolymerizing 99.5 to 97.5 wt% of trioxane (a) with 0.5 to 2.5 wt% of a compound (b) selected from among monofunctional cyclic ethers and monofunational cyclic formals and has a melt index of 1 to 50 g/min and 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of a branched or crosslinked polyacetal resin (B) which is produced by copolymerizing 99.49 to 95.0 wt% of trioxane (a) with 0.5 to 4.0 wt% of a compound (b) selected from among monofunctional cyclic ethers and monofunctional cyclic formals and 0.01 to 1.0 wt% of a polyfunctional glycidyl ether (c) having three to four functional groups and has a melt index of 0.1 to 10 g/min, wherein the melt indexes of the resins (A) and (B) satisfy the relationship: 0.02 ≤ MI_B/MI_A ≤ 1.5 (wherein MI_A and MI_B are melt indexes of the resins (A) and (B) respectively).
