Abstract:
This polyamide-based thermoplastic elastomer composition is a crosslinked product of a rubber composition which contains: (I) an aliphatic polyamide which has a melting point (Tm) of 200-290°C and is composed of a dicarboxylic acid structural unit containing 80% by mole or more of an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid structural unit and a diamine structural unit containing 80% by mole or more of an aliphatic diamine structural unit, or which is alternatively composed of an amide carboxylic acid structural unit or a lactam structural unit, and; (II) an ethylene/α-olefin/non-conjugated polyene copolymer rubber; (III) an olefin polymer which contains 0.3-5.0% by mass of a functional group structural unit; (IV) a phenolic resin-based crosslinking agent; and (V) a zinc compound serving as a crosslinking assistant in such an amount that the mass ratio thereof to the aliphatic polyamide (I), namely, the mass ratio (V)/(I) is 0.0001-0.02.
