Provided are: a polyamide resin composition which has excellent heat aging resistance, fluidity, flame retardancy, and press-fit properties without leading to a reduction in mechanical properties (particularly, toughness) inherent to the polyamide resin; and a molded article of the polyamide resin composition. The polyamide resin composition contains, with respect to (A) 100 parts by weight of a polyamide resin, (B) 0.1-50 parts by weight of a flame retardant, (C) 0.001-1 part by weight of a metal and/or a salt thereof, and (D) 0.001-1 part by weight of a compound represented by formula [I]: QX (in formula [I], Q represents an aromatic hydrocarbon group or an alicyclic hydrocarbon group, X represents a 5-membered ring heterocyclic group, and Q and X form a covalent bond or a fused ring).
