Abstract:
Provided is a polyarylene copolymer which comprises a plurality of segments having an ion-exchange group and a plurality of segments having substantially no ion-exchange group, characterized in that at least one of the segments having an ion-exchange group has a polyarylene structure, the segments having an ion-exchange group have a weight-average molecular weight in terms of polystyrene of 10,000-250,000, and the polyarylene copolymer has an ion-exchange capacity of 3.0 meq/g or more.
