Abstract:
To provide: a polyarylene sulfide resin composition for extrusion molding, provided with both good extrusion molding properties and, for example, flexibility whereby cracking or splitting does not occur even when a tube made of the resin is pushed into a nipple or other pipe fitting; an extrusion-molded article; a method for manufacturing an extrusion-molded article; and a transportation machine or a generator provided with the extrusion-molded article as piping for circulating a long-life coolant. The polyarylene sulfide resin composition, which contains polyarylene sulfide resin (A1) and an epoxy-group-containing olefin-based copolymer (A2) having a specific composition as resin components (A), the ratio of the mass of the resin components (A) with respect to the total mass of the polyarylene sulfide resin composition being at least 95% by mass, and the nominal strain at tensile break measured in accordance with ISO 527-1, 2 of the polyarylene sulfide resin composition being at least 40%, is used in extrusion molding.
