Abstract:
Provided are: a polyarylene sulfide (PAS) resin molded article which comprises a PAS resin, glass fibers, a granular filler and graphite, has excellent heat conductivity and mechanical properties, and also has excellent fuel barrier properties; a PAS resin composition which can provide the PAS resin molded article; and methods respectively for producing the PAS resin molded article and the PAS resin composition. More specifically provided are: a PAS resin composition which contains a PAS resin (A), glass fibers (B), a granular filler (C) and graphite (D) as essential components, the PAS resin composition being characterized in that the PAS resin (A) has a sodium content falling within the range of 2300 ppm or less, and the glass fibers (B) are contained in an amount of 10 to 150 parts by mass, the granular filler (C) is contained in an amount of 1 to 120 parts by mass, and the graphite (D) is contained in an amount of 10 to 130 parts by mass all relative to 100 parts by mass of the PAS resin (A); a molded article; and methods respectively for producing the PAS resin composition and the molded article.
