Abstract:
Provided are: a polyarylene sulfide resin composition which is to be used in an ignition coil member for an internal combustion engine, and exhibits excellent adhesion to an insulative resin other than polyarylene sulfide resins; and a method for producing the same. More specifically, provided are: a polyarylene sulfide resin composition to be used in an ignition coil member for an internal combustion engine, and characterized by being obtained by combining a polyarylene sulfide resin and dimethyl polysiloxane as essential components; and a method for producing a polyarylene sulfide resin composition to be used in an ignition coil member for an internal combustion engine, by melting and mixing the polyarylene sulfide resin and dimethyl polysiloxane as essential components at a temperature no lower than the melting point of the polyarylene sulfide resin.
