Abstract:
A poly(butylene terephthalate) film which can be used as a base layer in a packaging material for batteries which is provided with at least the base material layer, a barrier layer and a thermally fusable resin layer in this order, wherein the absolute value of a difference in heat of fusion ΔH1-2 that is determined by the following method is 3.0 J/g or more. (Method for determining the absolute value of a difference in heat of fusion ΔH1-2) A heat of fusion H1 on the first round is measured in accordance with the specification of JIS K7122-2012 using a differential scanning calorimeter by heating from a temperature of -50°C to a temperature of 250°C under the condition where the temperature rising rate is 10°C/min. Next, after the measurement of the heat of fusion H1, the cooling is carried out from a temperature of 250°C to a temperature of -50°C at a temperature lowering rate of 10°C/min, and then a heat of fusion H2 on the second round is measured by heating from a temperature of -50°C to a temperature of 250°C under the condition where a temperature rising rate is 10°C/min. An absolute value of a difference in heat of fusion ΔH1-2, which is a difference between the heat of fusion H1 and the heat of fusion H2, is calculated.
