Abstract:
A polycarbodiimide composition is a reaction product of a polyisocyanate having a primary isocyanate group with an alcohol, wherein the alcohol comprises at least one oxyethylene-containing alcohol that contains an oxyethylene group and at least one oxyethylene-free alcohol that contains no oxyethylene group. The at least one oxyethylene-free alcohol has a solubility parameter of 11.20 (cal/cm3)1/2 or less.
