Abstract:
A polycarbonate diol and a polycarbonate diol copolymer, which have excellent mechanical properties, hydrolysis resistance and the like, while exhibiting excellent commercial productivity. The polycarbonate diol has a repeating unit represented by formula (1), and the polycarbonate diol copolymer has a repeating unit represented by formula (1) and a repeating unit represented by formula (3). (In the formulae, Z1 and Z2 independently represent a linear or branched chain alkanediyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms.)
