The present invention provides: a polycarbonate resin that includes a structural unit represented by formula (1) (in which A is an optionally substituted trivalent alicyclic moiety, and B is an optionally substituted monovalent alicyclic moiety); and a cyclic carbonate that includes a structure in which an alicyclic skeleton has been bonded to a 1,2-cycloalkylene carbonate skeleton by a single bond.
