Abstract:

A biotinylated PCB derivative represented by the following general formula (1) and a method of immunologically assaying PCB or coplanar PCB characterized by using the derivative as a labeled compound: (1) wherein X and Y are the same or different and each represents hydrogen or chlorine; R¹ represents a biotin residue; R²s are the same or different and each represents an arginine residue or a lysine residue; n is an integer of from 1 to 5; and m is an integer of from 1 to 3. Thus, PCB or coplanar PCB can be quickly and conveniently assayed or detected.
