Abstract:
A polyelectrolyte composition comprising plural ionically conductive polymers, among which the ionically conductive polymer having the highest ion-exchange capacity is defined as the first ionically conductive polymer and the ionically conductive polymer having the lowest ion-exchange capacity is defined as the second ionically conductive polymer, wherein the first and second ionically conductive polymers are each a block copolymer composed of both a segment having ion-exchange groups and a segment substantially free from ion-exchange groups and the weight fraction (Wh1) of the segment having ion-exchange groups in the first ionically conductive polymer and that (Wh2) of the segment having ion-exchange groups in the second ionically conductive polymer satisfy the relationships (I) and (II): (I) Wh1 > Wh2 (II) Wh1 - Wh2 ≤ 0.25
