Abstract:
Provided is a polyester base fabric for an airbag that is woven of polyester fibers, wherein: the energy absorption in the warp direction and the weft direction when the base fabric is stretched to a stress of 118 N/cm and then the stress is relaxed to 0 N/cm is 1.0 - 3.0 J/cm2; and the proportion of the energy absorption in the warp direction to the energy absorption in the weft direction is 0.5 to 2.0.
