Provided are: a polyester-based plasticizer that has excellent cold resistance, non-transfer properties, oil leaching resistance, volatilization resistance, and the like in a well-balanced manner, particularly excellent transparency and oil leaching resistance of a molded article, and that can be produced from biomass resources; a vinyl chloride-based resin composition containing the polyester-based plasticizer; and a molded article of the vinyl chloride-based resin composition.　This polyester-based plasticizer is obtained from a dibasic acid component (A), a glycol component (B), a hydroxyl acid component (C), and a terminal-stopping component (D). The component (A) is at least one selected from the group consisting of sebacic acid, azelaic acid, and succinic acid. The component (B) is at least one selected from the group consisting of 1,2-propylene glycol, 1,3-propylene glycol, 1,3-butanediol, and 1,4-butanediol. (C) is 12-hydroxystearic acid. The terminal-stopping component (D) is at least one selected from the group consisting of monovalent fatty acids having 8-12 carbon atoms and straight-chain monovalent alcohols having 6-10 carbon atoms.
