Title:
POLYESTER FIBER CORD FOR REINFORCING RUBBER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/187364
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a polyester fiber cord for reinforcing rubber, said polyester fiber cord exhibiting good adhesion to an ethylene-α-olefin-unconjugated diene copolymer rubber blend and improving the processability during the production of a product such as an automotive hose. As a means for solving the above problem, provided is a polyester fiber cord for reinforcing rubber that is obtained by adding, to a polyester fiber to which a polyepoxide compound has been preliminarily added, an adhesive comprising at least a resorcin-formalin-rubber latex (A), a blocked polyisocyanate compound (B) and a halogenated phenol derivative (C), characterized in that: the rubber latex that is a component of the adhesive contains 80-100 parts by mass, per 100 parts by mass of the total solids of the rubber latex, of a mixture of a chloroprene rubber latex (D) with a polybutadiene rubber latex (E); and the mixing ratio of (D) to (E) [(D)/(E): solid content mass ratio] is from 80/20 to 20/80.
