Abstract:

A polyester composition comprising (A) polyethylene terephthalate having diethylene glycol units in an amount of 0.5 to 2.0 wt.% based on the resin and (B) an ethylene/(meth)acrylic acid copolymer, the amount of component (B) being 0.1 to 10,000 ppb (of the whole composition); a prefoam formed from the composition; and a hollow molded container obtained by stretch-molding the prefoam. The composition may further contain (C) polyethylene.
