Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To provide a comfortable polyester woven fabric which has extraordinarily high water-proofing properties and has higher stretchability. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The polyester woven fabric is characterized in that either of the warps and wefts are microfiber yarns having a single-fiber fineness of 0.01-1.1 dtex, and that the other are multifilament yarns in which each filament is a composite fiber of the side-by-side or eccentric sheath-core type obtained by bonding ingredients along the fiber direction, at least one of the ingredients being a polyester polymer comprising a polyester comprising polytrimethylene terephthalate as the main component. It is further characterized in that the total finish cover factor of the warps and wefts is 1,500-2,500.
