Abstract:
The present invention provides a polyethylene terephthalate fabric for an air bag including a polyethylene terephthalate fiber manufactured by spinning polyethylene terephthalate chips with an inherent viscosity of 0.8-1.3 dl/g, characterized in that the tearing strength measured after aging the before-coating raw fabric for 3,000 hours at a temperature of 70°C and a relative humidity of 95%RH is maintained to be 85% or more of that measured at a temperature of 25°C and a relative humidity of 65%RH. Furthermore, the polyethylene terephthalate fiber is characterized in that the carboxyl end group content, namely, CEG is 20 eq/Ton or less, preferably 15 eq/Ton or less.
