Abstract:
The present invention is a method for producing a polyfunctional polymer comprising a structural unit that has a urethane bond and a polymerizable unsaturated bond in side chains; and this method comprises a reaction step wherein a polymer (P) comprising a structural unit (a) that has a hydroxyl group in a side chain and a monomer (M) having an isocyanate group and a polymerizable unsaturated bond are reacted with each other in the presence of a bismuth carboxylate. The bismuth carboxylate is preferably represented by Bi(OOCR)3 (wherein each R independently represents a hydrocarbon group having 1-17 carbon atoms).
