Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a PHA powder which has satisfactory re-dispersibility when slurried and has satisfactory film-forming properties in slurry coating; and a method for producing the PHA powder. The PHA powder has a (3-hydroxybutyrate unit)/(3-hydroxyhexanoate unit) ratio of 80/20 to 91/9 (mol/mol) and has a water content of 20% or less.
The surface primary particles of the PHA powder have a roundness of 0.92 or greater.
