Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a polymer which enables the solid phase extraction of a metal ion, particularly a rare earth element, and from which a metal of interest can be collected by burning the polymer after the adsorption of the metal of interest onto the polymer. [Solution] The present invention is a polymer produced by introducing a diglycol amide group into at least one resin selected from the group consisting of an olefin resin, a styrene resin, a phenolic resin, a water-insoluble modified vinyl alcohol resin, an amide resin, a cellulose resin, a chitosan resin, a (meth)acrylic acid resin and a (meth)acrylic acid ester resin.
