[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a polymer that forms a cured product having exceptional heat resistance and exceptional adhesive strength. [Solution] A polymer having a polynaphthylene structure containing at least one type of structural unit selected from formula (1) and formula (2). (In formula (1) and formula (2), R1 and R3 each show a group that bonds to a naphthalene ring via an oxygen atom; i.e., a group having an epoxy group or ethylenic unsaturated group, or a group represented by -CH2OR5. R5 shows a hydrogen atom, C1-10 alkyl group, or acetyl group. When multiple R1 and R3 are present, each of the R1 and each of the R3 may be the same as or different from each other. R2 and R4 each show a group that bonds to a naphthalene ring; i.e., a hydrogen atom, halogen atom, or C1-20 alkyl group. When multiple R2 and R4 are present, each of the R2 and each of the R4 may be the same as or different from each other. a and c each show an integer of 2-6, b and d each show an integer of 0-4, a + b = 6, and c + d = 6. m and n each show an integer of 2 or higher.)
