Abstract:
A polymer composition, characterized in that it comprises a polymer and, incorporated therein, a tetramethylammonium salt; a high pressure hose, a ball for a ball game and a tire and a tube for a bicycle produced by the use of the polymer composition. The polymer composition is excellent in gas-barrier properties and mechanical characteristics. Such high pressure hoses include a hose for transporting a coolant which can be produced with ease and is reduced in the permeation rate for the gas of a coolant and is also excellent in mechanical characteristics such as flexibility and workability.
