Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a polymer composition whereby a rubber elastic body having high strength is obtained and excellent workability is obtained, and to provide a tire having excellent strength. This polymer composition is characterized by containing: (A) a polymer having a 1,2-polybutadiene chain (excluding polymer corresponding to the (B) polymer below); and (B) a polymer having structural units derived from a conjugated diene compound, and structural units derived from an aromatic vinyl compound, the conjugated diene compound in the structural units derived from the conjugated diene compound including butadiene, and numerical expression (i) being satisfied, where p, q, r, and s, each in mol%, are the composition ratios of structural units represented by chemical formula (1), structural units represented by chemical formula (2), structural units represented by chemical formula (3), and structural units represented by chemical formula (4), respectively. (i): 0.70 ≤ [(p + 0.5r)/(p + q + 0.5r + s)] ≤ 0.99.
