Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a polymer-dispersed liquid crystal composition that exhibits a strong adherence to base materials, a high reliability, a good heat resistance, in particular a small decline in transmittance after heating, and a high transparency during voltage ON; a liquid crystal element; and a light control element. The polymer-dispersed liquid crystal composition comprises a polymerizable compound (MA) and a nonpolymerizable liquid crystal compound (LB). The polymerizable compound (MA) comprises one or two or more cyclic monofunctional polymerizable compounds as a first component. The nonpolymerizable liquid crystal compound (LB) comprises one or two or more tolan compounds as a second component.
