Disclosed are: a polymer electrolyte which enables the production of a polymer electrolyte film that does not undergo the occurrence of wrinkling or curing and therefore has excellent dimensional stability; and a polymer electrolyte film comprising the polymer electrolyte and having the above-mentioned properties. Specifically disclosed are: a polymer electrolyte which has such a structure that an ion-conducting group is introduced into a polymer block (A0) having no ion-conducting group in a copolymer comprising 15 to 45 mass% of the polymer block (A0), 15 to 35 mass% of a polymer block (B) having no ion-conducting group and 35 to 55 mass% of a polymer block (C) having no ion-conducting group, wherein the polymer block (B) has a softening point that is 30˚C or lower and is lower by 20˚C or more than that of the polymer block (C); and a polymer electrolyte film comprising the polymer electrolyte.
